Katie, thanks for dropping by my blog to post a comment about the Great Iowa State Fair. We went to the Jets/Miami Sound Machine concert because that is what our daughter wanted to see. She is the same age you are and she is also a teacher. She teaches 7th grade reading and English at McCombs Middle School in Des Moines. Small world. Our son, who is 29, is a K-8 Vocal Music Teacher at Moulton Extended Learning Center in Des Moines.
